6th Urban Sketching in Sai Kung
Sai Kung, the backyard of Hong Kong, was only a barbecue site for me from my childhood memory. During my revisit, the slow vibe of the old market and surroundings became my favourite spot. I also noticed that there are so many hair salons in such a small community!
Once back at Sai Kung Pier, we headed to Sharp Island. Due to the high tide, we couldn’t see the tombolo clearly, but it still didn’t stop visitors from stepping across it.
On that day, Sai Kung was as crowded as a weekend holiday.

西貢是香港人的後花園，但我只有山長水遠來BBQ的印象⋯⋯相隔多年重遊，發現自己完全沒有認真到過西貢!? 最喜歡定格在從前的西貢舊墟，麻雀雖小，五臟俱全。我一邊走一邊感受這慢活社區，發現這裡的髮型屋未免太多了吧？
回到碼頭，船家已開始向遊人招手，而我們剛好與狗狗同船，原來是主人專程帶牠們到橋咀島玩水嬉戲。到達時水還未退，只隱約看到海水下的沙洲，但遊人仍紛紛走在沙洲上，在「半入水」的狀態下來個輕功水上飄。
到下午回到西貢碼頭時，人潮多得就像週末般。（疫情下大家也被困得太久了⋯⋯）
