If I have to pick a place to stay long in Vietnam, Dalat, a 1500m height French colonial heritage city surrounded by coffee planation and farm, would be the only choice for me. Every morning, I can make a hand drip Vietnamese Arabica coffee by myself. Dining in the Vietnamese restaurant, I can refill vegetables as much as healthy I want. Moreover, those lovely cafes I dropped by coincidentally really made my day!
A Falso Digital Nomad in Vietnam
As a city girl, living in Dalat as a digital nomad is perfect for me. However, it is a false digital nomad in Vietnam for me. As my artwork is mainly hand drawn, but the scanner in town is only for the document use only. In order to work smoothly in Dalat, next time I need to carry my own A4 scanner with me to ensure the quality of the artwork. Um… Lets me think about it then.
【「偽」數碼遊牧 @越南】
越南每個城市也有它獨特的魅力，但在這旅居的話，大叻（Dalat）是我唯一能平靜身心的避暑勝地。
以Robusta沖製的越南咖啡較為甘苦，當地人連齋啡（Cà phê đen）也會預設加入大量的砂糖⋯⋯（最誇張見過當地人飲三合一咖啡時再、額、外、加、糖！）在這1,500米高的法式山城，是越南少有能產Arabica豆的高原，所以早上起來我能親自沖一杯Arabica 咖啡來展開新一天。
走在路上，有無盡的響咹聲、無處不在的二手煙，在轉角處我遇到了小巧別緻的 Bicycle up cafe、飽覽田園美境的 Midori Coffee Farm、愛護山林的 Chi Hai Oi，它們都是我遠離喧鬧街道的避難所。
無限量蔬菜供應的越南菜，健康又合我口味。順化牛肉粉（Bún bò Huế）、廣南麵（Mì Quảng）、河粉（Pho）、烤肉榨粉（Bún Chả），天天吃也不會膩。Bánh Tráng Nướng是大叻的特色街頭小吃，年青人的至愛，我把它稱作Vietnamese Pizza! 但它也比不上我對越南煎餅Bánh Xèo的愛。可能是多走動、飲食清淡，在越南的日子，身體健康了不少。
這裡的寺廟過於色彩鮮艷，偶然經過簡樸靜謐的寺廟，都會坐下來放空。
作為城市人，我很享受在小鎮生活，每天不用花一兩小時在通勤路上，時間都能專注在重要的小事。心想：「數碼遊牧的生活模式真的很適合我。」直至，我需要把畫作掃描交稿那一刻，驚覺手繪的我和「數碼」完全沾不上邊，要在大叻接案的首要條件——要帶著自家A4掃描器，才能順利工作（小鎮的印刷店只能掃描簡單文件，細緻的畫作？休想！）
